CHARGE 69, leader of The first (and only) vinyl recordings of this formation appears on compilation "Le bal des Vauriens" with the song "Seul". Spirou leaves the band a few months later to devote himself more to his other band MOLODOÏ. Jeremya then takes the guitar and Sandro the vocals. The band practices more often and plays a large number of gigs before releasing its first 4 songs EP "Patchwork" pressed by four different labels: Knock Out (Germany), Pogo Stick (U.S.A.), Bronco Bullfrog (Spain) and Combat Rock in France. Chronics in the alternative press are excellents and the public reception very enthusiastic. More than 4000 copies of "Patchwork" are sold. A record for a vinyl EP. We will have to wait until June 95 to find a more stable band with the newcomers of Richard (guitar) and Gilles (vocals). This new group will remain stable until July 2001. Things are now going very fast: a lof of gigs in France, but also in Belgium, in Germany and even in the U.K. At the end of '98 is released the 4 songs single CD "Région sacrifiée" on Combat Rock (the vinyl version, wich will be released the next year on KNOCK OUT, will be sold at 1200 copies). The same CD will be released a second time on the same label, but with an unreleased song and 3 'live' tracks. After the recording of the After three albums, lots of EP's and compilations songs, and hundreds of gigs through whole Europe (Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Poland...), the band is now well established for the new Millemium with its new line-up, still strong, powerful and melodic. The punk-rockers are now back on the road for new gigs and won't stop here. |
